Overview
I joined as the first permanent product designer, the team shape was multidisciplinary; FE, BE, Data science and I worked closely with the Head of product, Chief of product and Head of engineering daily. I also had direct contact with senior stakeholders and founding CEO.
Process
I was hired to take design in-house and establish design process, ceremonies with stakeholders and build relationships with engineering and product teams. I established design functions within 3months streamlining the design and development cycle. I was quick to identify gaps with process and best practices plus industry tooling for the team – implement a simple design process with the team.
DESIGN
Design at Proquo was highly collaborative and inclusive within the business. I encouraged all parts of the business to participate in workshops to get input and test ideas.

DEVELOPMENT
Over the past two years, I significantly enhanced the product experience by aligning design strategies with business objectives. By understanding the needs of both the sales and customer success teams, I optimised touch points from initial website interaction to on-boarding and ongoing support in the product.
My efforts led to a measurable reduction in customer churn, increased customer satisfaction (CSAT), and improved user retention and engagement across the board.
